About the Author

Kenneth A. Reinert is Professor of Public Policy at George Mason University, where he won a Distinguished Teaching Award. He held past positions at Kalamazoo College, Wellesley College and the U.S. International Trade Commission. He has published over 60 articles and book chapters in the areas of trade, development and environmental policy. His other books include Globalization for Development: Meeting New Challenges (with I. Goldin, Oxford University Press, 2012), The Princeton Encyclopedia of the World Economy (edited with R.S. Rajan, Princeton University Press, 2009) and Applied Methods for Trade Policy Analysis: A Handbook (edited with J.F. Francois, Cambridge University Press, 1997).
